PGS Entertainment, kids’ distribution specialist will launch first episodes of Studio Hari’s hot new property, The Gees for worldwide distribution across all media at Mipcom. The series has already been prebought by Gulli in France, DR Denmark, SVT Sweden, and ABC Australia while negotiations are under way in more than 20 territories.
The 52 × 3’ HD CGI-animated series is the latest property from the animation house behind global hits The Owl and Leon which have sold in over 200 territories, airing on leading broadcast platforms worldwide.
The Gees are the newest superstars on the planet… the first extra-terrestrials to visit the Earth. They are inquisitive, friendly and quirky but they are hard work! Their boundless enthusiasm in exploring the human world is equalled only by their total clumsiness and their irresistible urge to do the wrong thing at the wrong time. From visiting the White House to fishing in Nunavut or working in a top restaurant, The Gees’ presence never causes anything but chaos.
